A technician comes to your home and finds the cause of the problem. The diagnostic visit is $179.
- Repair estimate
You get a repair estimate before any repair work begins.
- Your choice
If you approve the repair, the $179 is credited toward your repair cost. If you decline, you pay only the $179 diagnostic fee.
- More than one appliance? Each additional appliance diagnosed on the same visit is $40. If you approve repairs on both, $179 is credited toward the higher-priced repair and $40 toward the other. If you repair only one, $179 is credited toward that repair.
- 30-day window. The $179 credit applies to repairs of the diagnosed issue approved within 30 days of your diagnostic visit. Repair quotes are valid for 30 days.
- Example: if a repair's labor is $269, you pay $179 at the diagnostic visit and $90 in labor plus parts when the repair is done.
Please note: the $179 credit applies to repair service only. It is not applied toward the purchase of a new appliance. If you decide to replace instead of repair, ask our sales team about current promotions.

What if I decide not to repair?
You pay only the $179 diagnostic fee, which covers the technician's visit and diagnosis.
How are repair prices set?
We use flat-rate pricing based on the Blue Book, the national price guide for major appliance service. Each repair has a set price based on the job's difficulty and the appliance brand, not on how long it takes. You know the full price before any work begins.
What if I need more than one appliance checked?
Each additional appliance diagnosed on the same visit is $40. If you approve repairs on both, $179 is credited toward the higher-priced repair and $40 toward the other. If you repair only one, $179 is credited toward that repair.
How long is my repair quote valid?
Repair quotes are valid for 30 days. The $179 credit applies to repairs of the diagnosed issue approved within 30 days of your diagnostic visit. After that, prices may change.
Do repairs come with a warranty?
Yes. Completed repairs carry a 30-day parts and labor warranty under normal use. The warranty does not cover misuse, neglect, unrelated issues, or customer-supplied parts. Parts supplied by Bettar are non-refundable once installed.
Can I supply my own parts?
Yes, but customer-supplied parts are not covered by our warranty, and additional labor charges may apply if a part turns out to be defective or incompatible.
Can the $179 be applied toward a new appliance?
No. The $179 credit applies to repair service only and is not applied toward the purchase of a new appliance. If you decide to replace instead of repair, ask our sales team about current promotions.
